Healthcare SEO for dentists, plastic surgeons and clinics

Make your practice easier to find and trust

I help practices win the urgent visit, the planned treatment and the high-value procedure. The work covers Google, Maps and the AI answers patients use to decide who to trust with their health.

You get senior SEO strategy and the person who made the plan doing the work. Nothing gets relayed through sales, an account manager and a junior team.

Bring me the site. You will leave with a clear read on where qualified patients are being lost and whether I can help.

Built for the way care is chosen

A cracked tooth on a Saturday is not chosen like a rhinoplasty. Good healthcare SEO separates the urgent visit from the considered procedure, then gives each one the right page, proof and next step. And because patients are trusting you with their health, the proof has to be real.

Dentists

Win the emergency search on the map without burying implants, clear aligners and cosmetic work behind one “general dentistry” page.

Plastic surgeons

Support a long, private decision with procedure pages, surgeon credentials, recovery details and before-and-after galleries patients agreed to share.

Medical clinics

Give every provider, service line and location a page worth finding, so the clinic ranks for what it treats and not only for its name.

Multi-location practices

Keep every profile, provider and address telling the same accurate story across Google, directories and AI answers.

Patient demand already exists

The leak is usually between the search and the booked appointment.

Rankings are useful. They tell us whether the work is moving. Booked appointments, new patients and revenue tell us whether it was worth doing.

  • The Google Business Profile shows old hours, a provider who left in 2023, or a category that does not match the main service.
  • High-value treatments are buried under a single “Services” page.
  • Provider bios are two lines and a headshot, so nobody can tell who is qualified to do what.
  • Medical content was written by someone who has never met a patient, and it reads that way.
  • Reviews arrive in a burst, then stop. Replies are copy-paste, or worse, say too much about the patient.
  • Reporting celebrates calls without showing which ones became booked appointments.

How I turn local search into booked patients

  1. 1

    Win the map pack

Make the practice, the location, the hours and the next step obvious when someone needs care nearby. That means an accurate Google Business Profile, strong location pages, consistent listings, a steady flow of reviews and a call path that works on a phone.

  2. 2

Earn trust for the considered procedure

Build the depth a patient needs before booking a consultation. Procedure and treatment pages, provider credentials, recovery and cost questions answered plainly, and content reviewed by a clinician on your team, with their name on the page. I write it. They make sure it is right.

  3. 3

    Find what produces patients

Connect pages and search terms to calls, forms and booked appointments wherever your phone and booking systems allow. When the most valuable treatments become visible, the priorities get much easier.

Show up wherever patients make the shortlist

Urgent care still starts on the map. Bigger decisions spill into reviews, provider research and AI answers, and health is one of the most common topics people bring to ChatGPT, with more than 300 million people asking it health questions every week (OpenAI, July 2026). I work on both moments as one patient journey and measure them separately.

What I handle

The mix changes with the specialty, the market and the treatments you want more of. A typical engagement can include:

Commercial search strategy
Prioritize treatments and locations by value, fit and the odds of winning.
Local SEO and map alignment
Align the website, Google Business Profile, listings and reviews so they work from the same facts.
Treatment and procedure content
Answer the patient question, show who is qualified, and make booking easy.
Provider trust
Bios, credentials, reviewer bylines and schema that show patients and search engines who is behind the care.
Technical SEO
Clear the crawling, indexing, speed, schema and duplication problems that hold strong pages back.
AI-search visibility
Track whether the practice gets named and cited, then strengthen the evidence behind it.
Measurement
Report the path from visibility to calls, bookings and new patients wherever the data allows.

What the first six months look like

  1. First 30 days

Establish the baseline, confirm the treatments and locations closest to revenue, fix urgent profile and listing errors, and start the first priority work.

  2. Months 2 to 3

Build or improve the pages that should bring in patients. Align local signals, set up the review and clinician review process, and put booking tracking in place.

  3. Months 3 to 6

Expand what is working, strengthen provider and third-party proof, and improve pages stuck below the fold.

  4. Six months and beyond

Compare visibility, bookings and new patients. Put more effort where the channel is earning and change course where it is not.

A grand name for a very direct working relationship

Chateau Mojo is my SEO and AI-search consultancy. I am Jeremy McWilliams.

I have spent 12 years in SEO, including time at an award-winning Montreal agency. My work has covered ecommerce, health and wellness, biotech, B2B, and other markets where trust and a considered buying decision matter.

I set the strategy and execute the work myself. The person on the call is the person responsible for what ships.

More about me

This works best when

If SEO is the wrong spend for the practice, I will say so on the call. Already booked out for three months? Hire another hygienist first.

  • You know which treatments and locations matter most to the practice.
  • A clinician on your team can review content before it goes live.
  • Your front desk can ask happy patients for a review.
  • You want booked appointments, not a quota of blog posts.
  • You are prepared to give the channel time to compound.

Questions practices usually ask

Can this work for one location and for a multi-location group?

Yes. A single practice needs depth and strong local proof. A group also needs a structure that gives each location and provider a useful page without thin copies at scale.

How do you handle patient privacy?

My work does not need patient health information, and I do not collect it. Review replies thank people without confirming they are a patient, which matters: HHS has settled with a dental practice over review replies that disclosed patient information. Your practice stays responsible for its own HIPAA program.

How quickly should we expect results?

It depends on the site, the market and the specialty. Profile fixes and listing errors can move sooner. Competitive treatment and city rankings usually take longer. Before you sign, I will explain what I expect to change first and what needs time.

What does AI search change for a practice?

It adds another place where patients ask who to trust, especially for elective or unfamiliar procedures. Accurate practice facts, credible provider information and strong third-party signals help. I track AI mentions and citations separately from Google rankings.

Do you guarantee rankings or a certain number of patients?

No. Nobody controls Google, AI recommendations, local demand or your front desk. I can assess the opportunity, improve the parts we control and report what changed without dressing up a weak result.

How do engagements work?

On a monthly retainer. The scope depends on the locations, providers, treatments and implementation load. Better call and booking data improves the priorities, but it is not required to begin. You get the roadmap and monthly fee before committing.
